Dirty Opera is an independently run non-profit that aims to shine a light on art and culture through a finely-curated event series featuring regional, national, international artists and special guests.
Our goal is to bring unique and affordable events to the Pomona Valley region of Southern California, starting with a monthly Q&A film series at Laemmle Claremont 5, live music at The Cathedral in Pomona, as well as art installations and performance collaborations at galleries and non-traditional venues.
In addition to being lifelong artists, the founders of Dirty Opera have decades of experience ranging from event production, artist management, marketing and promotion, running record labels, hosting radio shows, and working closely with local businesses and institutions - all in a grassroots, DIY manner.
In an effort to keep production costs and ticket prices affordable, we will utilize local businesses to sponsor events, many of which will be free to the public.
